Here at Astonishing Complexions, we are proud users of Dermalogica products.  Being a Dermalogica Certified Skin Therapist, Michelle is qualified to determine the best treatment products for your skin from the prestigious line of Dermalogica products and treatments.

Dermalogica first came on the skin care scene in 1986, created by Jane Wurand, a skin therapist from the UK, new to America.  Jane saw that there was a lack of proper education for skin therapists here in the United States, and in 1983 she set out to found the International Dermal Institute (IDI) to help fill this void.  Starting out in a small classroom in Marina Del Rey, California, the IDI has grown to be the international gold standard in skin care education.

Seeing that there was no existing skincare line that reflected her principles of “skin health” rather than just skin “beauty”, Jane once again set out to solve the problem.  She created the Dermalogica line of products, free of common skin irritants such as artificial colors or fragrances.  Her line of products was made to support beautiful, healthy skin, and created for use only by certified IDI graduates.

All Dermalogica products are made right here in the United States, in Southern California.  The Dermalogica line has products to treat all types of skin issues including:

  • Acne
  • Dry Skin
  • Sensitive Skin
  • Oily Skin
  • Aging
  • Uneven Skin Tone

Product types include cleaners, toners, exfoliants, eye treatments and specialized products for various skincare concerns.  A qualified IDI trained skincare professional can help you figure out which of their many products and formulations are uniquely correct for skin type so that you can have the glowing, healthy skin you deserve.
